I came to weddings the long way — through travel and fashion photography, and years spent shooting artists and musicians until I found my own way of seeing. So you get everything you'd want from a traditional photographer, and an eye for something rarer: not just the moment, but the you inside it — the particular, unrepeatable person you are in every frame.

A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime miracle — not simply because it's a wedding, but because it's yours. A gown is beautiful and mesmerising on its own; what makes it come alive is the human inside it. That's what I'm after: the human in you and your partner, and the twinkle in the eye of every guest who came to love this day alongside you.

You are not just anybody — so why should your photographs look like everyone else's? I'm not here for a hollow, handsome wedding day. I'm here for who you two are, and for the particular love you, and everyone in that room, have gathered to share.

And I photograph for an audience most cameras forget: you, in twenty, forty, sixty years. Your children, and theirs, learning who you were on this day. You, someday, pausing in the hall to smile at a picture on the wall. These images carry the gravity of decades — they only grow. Every time the shutter closes, that's the audience I hold in my heart.
