Made to show
what it's actually about.

We find what sits at the centre of the work, then build the picture around it.

My approach

Find the heart of it, then show it.

Most people arrive with something already half-built — a record, a concept, a business they've poured years into. They know it matters; they just haven't seen it in one frame yet. The first job is working out what it's really about. The second is building the picture that shows it.

Shooting artists was my bread-and-butter start. I've shot a dozen other kinds of work since, but the creative work is where my heart is — and it's what I try to carry into the weddings, the corporate days, and the travel.

So I don't start from a pose or a preset. I start with a conversation about what you're making and what matters most in it, then build the light and the frame around that. It takes longer than turning up and shooting. It's also the difference between a photograph of the thing and a photograph about it.

The whole night

Concerts

The whole night

From soundcheck to encore, I cover the set the way it happened — the light, the sweat, the crowd, the moment it peaks. Full galleries you can pull press, socials, and posters from, and the handful of frames that show what the night was actually like.

Built, not found

Concept

Built, not found

The shoots that start as a sketch — editorial ideas, product, and images made to say one thing clearly. The idea is yours; my job is working out how it looks and then building it until it's there.

The people who make it

Artists

The people who make it

Portraits and press for the people behind the work — musicians, painters, writers, makers. We start from what you make, because that is usually the most interesting thing about the picture.

Who you actually are

Identity Portraits

Who you actually are

A portrait with an idea in it. We talk first about what it's for and what you want it to say, then build the light and the frame around that — for a sleeve, a jacket, a profile, or your own wall.

“The picture is usually already in the project. The job is getting it out.”
